Extremely fresh shrimp cooking

Coincidentally stumbled upon fisherman village and found a batch of fresh shrimp with reasonable price. My family decided to cook simple Thai food for a dinner.

[Tom Yum Koong, Stir fried morning glory and garlic & butter shrimp] Since the shrimp are so fresh. Sweetness from shrimp is just amazing topped with spicy seafood sauce and Tom Yum (sour & spicy soup) to bring some color to your taste bud.

It’s summer in Thailand and I’m going to enjoy my vacation at the beach Woo hoo! Photos are taken from Wan Vayla, Hua Hin (2-3 hours drive from Bangkok) with more than sufficient sunlight in the photos. Jumping into the pool to avoid heat is one of the best feeling ever >_<

ROD FAI seafood is a restaurant located in Hua Hin walking street. They also provide English menu and could communicate in English. The staff are friendly too.

My main target is lobster and here we go!

Garlic & Butter grilled Lobster – The aroma are jsut amazing. lobster texture are fresh and little bit chewy. Seasoning are well balance. I just wish they gave more butter sauce to have with a rice.

Pad Cha Scallops – The size and texture of scallops are good. However, the seasoning are lacking which leads to some bland taste which could be more spicy. Quite disappointing.

Grilled shrimp – Overcooked and the texture was too dry. Moreover, shrimp oil in the head are all gone T_T

Omelette – Oily in texture. this plate pass the standard. Nothing more than that.

Jae Dum is a Thai restaurant located near Klong 10 in Pathumthani area. The place is quite popular. I arrived at the restaurant around 3 pm which still have some customers. There are so many photos of recently visited customers and celebrity all around in the restaurant.

Fried Clown knife fish with garlic. This dish consists of crispy texture of knife fish. Quite delicious ,however beware of little bone when enjoying this dish.

Fish cake from Clown knife fish. The is one of the recommended menu of the place. The texture are well-blended and curry paste seasoning are so balanced which sends this dish to one of the best chewy fish cake in my life.

Asian redtail catfish Tom Yum. Hot and spicy tom yum which gives you boost and appetite are well suited with others dish with a side of rice.

Fried Snapper with fermented fish sauce. Crispy snapper with saltiness from fermented fish sauce makes one the most enjoyable combination ever.

Garlic shrimp. The texture are so fresh with orange color garlic sauce goes so well with the rice.

Grilled river shrimp. The texture of shrimp are so soft and fresh. Personally, I prefer eating with spicy seafood sauce then blend the pure goodness of shrimp oil with rice as climax of this meal.
