Fowlmouth

Fowlmouth is a Nashville style spicy fried chicken. Nashville, Tennessee are famous for hot & crispy fried chicken. Located in recently opened community space in Sukhumvit 11. Some neighbors shops are still under renovation at my visit.

The ambiance are vibrant and playful. I like the idea that decoration suits the hot & spicy fried chicken theme. The staffs could communicate in English fluently since Sukhumvit area are so familiar with expats.

The menu consists of Fried chicken(Of course!), burgers, snacks, sauces and variety of side dishes. I ordered Chicken tenders set [220 THB] with Pimento Mac & Cheese with Mississippi Comeback Sauce as recommended sauce. I also order extra wings [+50 THB] and curly fries [95 THB] to satisfy my craving for calories. Then I selected medium level for spiciness, I felt that it is too mild for my tongue, next time I wold go for stronger level.

The aromatic of chicken is just mouthwatering. Chicken is crispy on the outside but not too oily at all. Inner is still juicy.
Mac & Cheese and Mississippi Comeback Sauce are still too mild for my taste.
Curly Fries are well fried. The problem is too small quantity (personal preference lol)

It’s summer in Thailand and I’m going to enjoy my vacation at the beach Woo hoo! Photos are taken from Wan Vayla, Hua Hin (2-3 hours drive from Bangkok) with more than sufficient sunlight in the photos. Jumping into the pool to avoid heat is one of the best feeling ever >_<

ROD FAI seafood is a restaurant located in Hua Hin walking street. They also provide English menu and could communicate in English. The staff are friendly too.

Garlic & Butter grilled Lobster – The aroma are jsut amazing. lobster texture are fresh and little bit chewy. Seasoning are well balance. I just wish they gave more butter sauce to have with a rice.

Pad Cha Scallops – The size and texture of scallops are good. However, the seasoning are lacking which leads to some bland taste which could be more spicy. Quite disappointing.

Grilled shrimp – Overcooked and the texture was too dry. Moreover, shrimp oil in the head are all gone T_T

Krua Kriang Nam

“Krua Kriang Nam” literally means Kitchen by the river in Thai language. The place clearly demonstrates river side ambiance with breeze near the Chaophraya river with some boat sailing around as an alternative choice of traveling in Thailand.

Stir fried Coconut shoot with shrimp and Thai Chili

Coconut shoot provide firm texture which supported by spiciness from chili and sweetness shrimp. Making a great combination with rice to relief spiciness.

Small Crab Somtum (Thai spicy papaya salad)

Somtum is an all-around dish with spiciness from chili, sourness from lime, saltiness from fish fermented sauce and sweetness. This dish exhibits how enjoyable Somtum should be.

Grilled River Shrimp

This is one of me personal favorite. The texture of shrimp are so firm and sweet. Topped with spicy seafood sauce. Then mix the shrimp oil from the head with rice and enjoy one of the most simple and delicious menu Chaopraya river could offer.

Fried frog legs

Pretty sure this menu might excite and freak some people out at the same time. I gotta admit that used to have the same feeling too. Then I tried one haha. The skin part are so crispy and the leg part have such high similarity to chicken firmness.
